Ryanair Hits Record 22.2 Million Passengers in July
Low-cost carrier Ryanair continues to accelerate its growth momentum during peak summer air travel demand across Europe. In July, the group carried a total of 22.2 million passengers, marking a 7% increase compared to the 20.8 million recorded during the same month in 2025. This traffic volume represents a new monthly record for the airline.
Despite the expansion in operational capacity, the airline’s load factor remained steady at 96%, matching the exact level logged in July of last year. The stability of this metric underscores robust passenger demand and the effective absorption of added seat capacity throughout the peak summer travel window.

July’s growth reinforces the airline’s positive year-over-year trajectory. Over the rolling 12-month period, Ryanair reached 213.2 million passengers, representing a 5% increase from the 203.1 million reported in the previous comparable period.
The strong operational performance in July coincides with the European summer travel peak, characterized by high traffic density across the region’s airspace. By maintaining a 96% monthly load factor, the group reasserts the efficiency of its ultra-low-cost business model in managing capacity and capturing market demand.
