Condor Expands European Network from Frankfurt with Athens, Florence, and Stockholm
German carrier Condor is set to expand its European route portfolio to a total of 16 metropolitan destinations for next summer. This move solidifies Frankfurt Airport as a key international hub, bolstering connectivity and passenger transfers between major European cities and the airline’s long-haul network serving North America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia. New Routes and Flight Schedules for Spring 2027
The rollout of the new routes will begin progressively starting in late April 2027:
Athens, Greece:
- Launch Date: April 28, 2027
- Frequency: Daily service throughout the summer season
- Route Profile: Integrates one of the Mediterranean’s most high-demand destinations into the carrier’s European network. Aviation Sector

- Launch Date: May 6, 2027
- Frequency: Twice-daily flights throughout the summer season
- Route Profile: Offers enhanced connectivity for both corporate and leisure travelers bound for the Tuscan capital.
Stockholm/Arlanda, Sweden:
- Launch Date: May 13, 2027
- Frequency: Twice-daily, year-round scheduled service
- Route Profile: Adds a high-yield Scandinavian market tailored to business and leisure demand alike.
Strengthening the Frankfurt Hub and Operational Growth
With these additional services, Condor is further advancing its hub-and-spoke strategy at Frankfurt Airport. A carefully coordinated timetable will allow passengers to take advantage of minimum connect times (MCT) and an optimized travel journey, facilitating smooth onward transit into Europe for travelers arriving from its long-haul international network.
This short- and medium-haul expansion seamlessly complements Condor’s intercontinental footprint, reinforcing its role as a network carrier and anchoring Frankfurt’s standing among global aviation’s premier gateway hubs.
