Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes launched its inaugural nonstop service between Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon on Wednesday, marking the carrier’s strategic debut in the European long-haul market.

Fleet and Schedule

Flights are initially being operated by an Airbus A330 wet-leased from Wamos Air, an airline also under the Abra Group umbrella.

Initial Frequencies: The service debuts with four weekly frequencies, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Frequency Upsurge: Starting November 24, a Tuesday departure will be added to the schedule, bringing the frequency to five weekly flights.
