Avianca has announced the permanent reinstatement of its non-stop service between Cali and Miami, starting December 17, 2026. With this move, the carrier integrates the city pair into its year-round network, moving away from seasonal operations to strengthen regional connectivity with South Florida.

Flight Schedule and Seasonal Frequencies

The route’s resumption will roll out in two strategic phases to match passenger demand:

  • Peak season (December 17, 2026 – January 31, 2027): Daily non-stop service between both cities.
  • Regular schedule (effective February 1, 2027): Four weekly frequencies operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Angela Maria Orozco, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Avianca, emphasized the strategic importance of this decision for travelers across the Valle del Cauca department:

“We know how vital South Florida is for travelers from Valle del Cauca, whether visiting family, conducting business, or taking vacations. Transitioning from a seasonal service to a permanent, year-round operation is a direct response to the region’s trust in and loyalty to Avianca. Our goal is to keep Valle del Cauca seamlessly, competitively, and reliably connected to the world with our best service.”
