Avior Airlines’ departure from IATA BSP will not affect the resumption of operations.

The president of Avior Airlines, Juan Bracamonte, spoke this Wednesday through his Twitter account about the airline’s departure from IATA’s BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan).

“Avior Airlines simply stopped using the BSP processing system temporarily, now we work with another sales system (KIU) and directly with travel agencies,” wrote Bracamonte.

He assured that they could return to the IATA compensation system when they consider it convenient and aeronautical activities are reestablished.

“This change does not affect the resumption of commercial air operations. When the aeronautical authority considers it safe to reactivate them, we will do so, for which we have months of preparation”, said.
