China Airlines will carry out special flight to see off the Boeing 747.
Taiwan’s China Airlines is organizing a special farewell flight for Boeing 747 enthusiasts on February 6.
The return trip of more than five hours will be made with the airline’s last 747-400 passenger (delivered in 2005), and will take place at the famous Mount Fuji volcano in Japan. The departure and arrival point will be the base of China Airlines in Taipei.

A ticket will cost approximately 215 euros in economy class, 280 euros in business class (lower deck) and 310 euros (upper deck). For that amount, passengers will also receive a meal on board, a model of the model plane, a certificate and a 747-goodiebag.
China Airlines has been flying Boeing 747s since 1975. Although the era of passenger planes is coming to an end, the airline still operates a large number of 747 freighters.
