Copa Airlines announces new route to Barcelona (Venezuela) starting in June

Copa Airlines announced Friday a new route that will connect Panama City and Barcelona starting June 30, becoming its fourth destination in Venezuela, after Caracas, Valencia and Maracaibo.

The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays) on Boeing 737-700 aircraft with capacity for 126 passengers.

Flights will depart Panama City at 09:42, landing in Barcelona at 13:23. From José Antonio Anzoátegui Airport, they will take off at 15:07, arriving in Tocumen at 16:46.

“The opening of operations in this new destination is a sign of Copa Airlines’ commitment to continue expanding the offer of frequencies and destinations in the Americas and the Caribbean and to better connect the regions of the countries where we operate, as is the case of Venezuela,” said Roberto Pulido, General Manager of Copa Airlines in Venezuela.

By operating this new flight, the General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport of Barcelona becomes the central hub for the connectivity of the east and southeast of the country with the rest of the Americas.
