Satena announces flights between Barranquilla and Caracas

The Colombian airline Satena announced this Saturday a new route between Barranquilla and Caracas starting on November 28.

According to the company’s website, the route will operate four weekly frequencies (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) in Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft, with capacity for 50 passengers.

Turpial Airlines confirms start of flights between Caracas and Bogota.

Satena announced this Friday that it will operate flights between Bogota and Caracas next Wednesday, November 9. To date, this route only appears available for that day on its website.

According to Colombia’s Civil Aeronautics via twitter on Friday night, the airline was authorized to operate a charter flight on the Bogota-Caracas-Bogota route next Wednesday.

For the moment it is not known if the route between both capitals will operate with a stopover in Barranquilla or if new direct frequencies will be added.
