United Airlines resumed flights to Nicaragua
United Airlines resumed this Wednesday its flights between Houston and Managua (Nicaragua), after almost three years of suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The plane, a Boeing 737-800, landed at 13:15 (local time) at the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport “at full capacity”, according to the Nicaraguan Aviation union organization Aviación de Nicaragua.

“Finally we tell you that 2023 brings good news for Nicaragua’s air connectivity and we expect new airlines or frequencies that will strengthen our flight network,” said the trade organization.
This is the second US airline to reestablish flights between the United States and Nicaragua in recent months, after American Airlines did it last November 30.
