Singapore Airlines cancels order for eight Boeing 737 MAX jets
Singapore Airlines Group announced Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with Boeing to cancel an order for eight 737 MAX 8s and modify the order for three 787-9s to 787-10s.

These adjustments are in line with the Group’s long-term fleet renewal strategy and support its planned operational requirements,” the company said in a statement.
As of May 16, 2023, Singapore Airlines Group’s order backlog was three Airbus A350s, 15 Boeing 787-10s, 31 777-9s, 13 737 MAX 8s and seven A350Fs. Scoot’s (the group’s low-cost carrier) backlog is for three 787-8s, one 787-8, 12 A320neo, six A321neo and nine Embraer E190-E2s.
