Arajet inaugurated its new route between Santiago de los Caballeros and Medellin
Dominican Arajet inaugurated this Thursday its new route between Santiago de los Caballeros and Medellín (Colombia), becoming the first airline to connect both cities nonstop.
The route will operate two weekly frequencies (Mondays and Thursdays) on Boeing 737-8 aircraft, offering 740 seats per week.

Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, indicated that this new connection will allow Cibaeños to get to know and explore the charms that the city of Medellín has to offer, with new planes, low prices and the opportunity to connect with other destinations.
“Colombia is the third country of origin of tourists in the Dominican Republic and today we are proud to be the first airline to link the Cibao International Airport with the José María Córdova International Airport, and this route will strengthen tourism and commercial ties between these cities and will benefit the entire value chain of the economy of both countries,” said Pacheco Méndez.
