Avianca launches new routes to Tegucigalpa (Palmerola) and Cusco from Bogota

Avianca announced on Tuesday two new routes connecting Bogota (Colombia) with Cusco (Peru) and Tegucigalpa (Palmerola) starting October 30 and 31, respectively.

The Bogotá-Cusco route will operate four weekly frequencies, while the Bogotá-Tegucigalpa (Palmerola) route will operate three weekly frequencies, using Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity for 180 passengers and a cabin with three different seating options.

“We are happy to continue expanding our network, which now totals 144 routes to 24 countries and 71 destinations, now with direct flights for our customers to Tegucigalpa, via Palmerola, in Honduras and to Cusco in Peru. There are more than 1,000 seats per week in each of these operations starting in October for our customers to fly nonstop and with a product tailored to their needs,” said David Aleman, Avianca’s CEO for Central and South America.
