Wingo launches its second domestic route from José María Córdova Airport, which serves Medellín. The route between Medellín and Cartagena will start on October 29.
The route will have four flights a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. In total, the airline will make available to travelers about 6 thousand seats per month between both routes. Flights are already available for sale with promotional launch fares starting at COP 119,900.

“This route represents great news for Medellín, as it means the return of low-cost flights to domestic beach destinations, such as Cartagena. At Wingo we continue to develop our strategy of controlled growth, with which we demonstrate that the low-cost model is viable and sustainable,” said Jorge Jiménez, Wingo’s Commercial and Planning Vice President.
Wingo adds 184 domestic flights in the coming months
In addition to the launch of this new domestic route, the airline will add 184 domestic flights to operate between September and October. The airline will increase its frequencies during these months on the Bogota – Medellin, Bogota – Cartagena, Bogota – Santa Marta, Bogota – Cali and San Andres – Cartagena routes.
In total, more than 34 thousand seats will be made available to travelers, thus increasing by 11.7% the supply of domestic flights during these months. Wingo is making this increase due to the increase in demand on its domestic routes and because it is aware of the need to offer a greater availability of seats on domestic routes with the highest passenger flow in the country.
