Spirit Airlines Announces Flights to Tulum from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando
Spirit Airlines announced that it will offer nonstop flights to Tulum from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando beginning March 28, 2024, becoming the first U.S.-based Ultra Low Cost carrier to announce service to the new Mexican airport.
Both routes will operate one daily flight on Airbus A320 family aircraft, with introductory fares starting at $149 each way (taxes and fees included) for travel from April 10 to May 21, 2024.

“Tulum is an increasingly popular choice for leisure travelers, and our direct flights from Florida will make a getaway to Mexico’s enchanting coastline more accessible than ever, just in time for spring break,” said John Kirby, Spirit Airlines’ Vice President of Network Planning.
With the addition of these two new routes, the airline’s international service in Fort Lauderdale increases to 26 destinations and in Orlando to 11.
