The Aerospace Affairs Evaluation Committee (CEPA), a special administrative unit of Aeronáutica Civil, authorized avianca to operate the Bogota-Paris-Bogota route.

According to Act No. 109, the airline will be able to operate the route with up to 7 weekly flights, using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
With this new route to Paris, avianca continues to expand its destinations in Europe, where it currently offers flights to Barcelona, Madrid and London.
