LATAM Airlines has just unveiled in São Paulo the first of its 15 themed airplanes labeled for the “Get to Know Brazil Flying” campaign. Created by the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Ministry of Ports and Airports and the Brazilian Airline Association (Abear), the initiative is a joint effort to increase access to aviation and travel in Brazil by promoting domestic tourist destinations and advance purchase of airline tickets.
The presentation of the aircraft at LATAM’s hangar at Congonhas Airport was attended by Brazil’s Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, and LATAM Brazil’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Aline Mafra. By the end of February, the company should have 7 aircraft with the campaign logo.
The first flight of the Airbus A320neo (registration PR-XBH) that was labeled and introduced took place on Monday (February 19) on the São Paulo/Congonhas-Navegantes route.

“We support this initiative because we are committed to Brazil. LATAM is the fastest growing airline in the country in 2023 and we will continue to grow in 2024. It is with more flights and by guiding people to buy their tickets in advance that we will give Brazilians more access to aviation,” explains Aline Mafra.
LATAM Sustainable Growth
More efficient and competitive, LATAM has invested sustainably in its expansion and currently operates the largest flight network in its history in Brazil, with operations to more than 50 airports in the country. In the international market, it is the airline that most connects Brazil with the world, with flights from the country to 90 airports abroad. In 2023 alone, it received 15 of the 17 new aircraft delivered by manufacturers to the LATAM Group in the Brazilian market.
As a result, the airline has led the Brazilian airline industry (market share) continuously since 2021, according to ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), and entered 2024 optimistic, with its passenger volume in Brazil growing by 5% compared to January 2023. The company remains even more committed to the democratization of aviation in Brazil, so it has announced 4 measures to universalize air transport in the country and plans to expand its domestic operation by 7% to 9% this year.
