Viva Aerobus announces three new routes from AIFA
Viva Aerobus announced and offered for sale three new routes that will connect Mexico City’s Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) with Ciudad Obregon in Sonora; Leon, Guanajuato; and in Tamaulipas the city of Matamoros, where the airline will operate for the first time.
The new routes will begin operations in the coming months, starting with León on October 1, Matamoros on November 1 and Ciudad Obregón on November 3.

“We continue to work to turn the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico into a world-class airport hub. These new routes allow us to reach even further, even to places where we had never operated before, such as Matamoros. Our commitment to offer the best destinations at the best fares is stronger than ever,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva Aerobus.
These three new routes are in addition to the 12 that began operating this year, offering a total of 29 destinations operated from the new Felipe Angeles International Airport by Viva Aerobus.
