Arajet, in collaboration with Boeing, launched the second edition of its Cadets program to prepare young Dominicans academically and boost their careers in the country’s aeronautical sector.
The airline informed that Emmanuel Lopez and Aníbal Báez were selected as beneficiaries of this program, after passing the competency, simulator and technical knowledge evaluation tests to provide them with an educational opportunity with world-class standards.

Both Dominican cadet pilots are in the training phase in the city of Miami and will receive academic preparation that will allow them to enter the job market as first officers.
Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, expressed that this project is a commitment that the airline has assumed to strengthen its team of pilots with Dominican collaborators and thus continue contributing to the development of local talent to promote the growth of the national aeronautical industry.
Arajet reiterated that this program will continue to call for young Dominicans with the skills to become pilots as it is part of its commitment to contribute to the growth of the aviation sector in the Dominican Republic and make the country the preferred hub in the Caribbean.
