Levu Air Cargo to operate first Airbus A321 converted freighter in Latin America
Brazilian operator Levu Air Cargo celebrated the entry into service of its first Airbus A321 converted freighter, under lease from SmartLynx, becoming the first Latin American cargo company to fly this type of aircraft.
The A321 converted freighter can carry up to 27 metric tons with a range of up to 3,800 kilometers, allowing Levu to operate in a flexible and optimized manner. Thanks to its large volume and payload, the A321 offers the lowest unit cost in its class and the lowest fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, per kg. Its optimized fuselage cross-section offers flexibility to carry a wide variety of pallet and container sizes, providing operators with unmatched capabilities.

Levu’s A321 entry into service will be supported by NAVBLUE, Airbus’ air operations company, with a dedicated set of solutions to improve the performance, navigation and safety of its operations. While addressing critical operational challenges, these solutions will improve the airline’s operational efficiency.
Levu Air Cargo is a Brazilian cargo airline specialized in domestic and international transportation. It is headquartered in Campinas and has air bases throughout the country. The company plans to operate more converted Airbus aircraft in the near future.
