LATAM recognized as “Best Airline in Latin America” and “Transformation of the Year”
LATAM Airlines was recognized with two important international awards, specifically as “Best Airline in Latin America”, a category incorporated for the first time by Business Traveler magazine; and as “Airline Turnaround of the Year 2024”, a distinction awarded annually by CAPA Center for Aviation, which recognizes the airline that has been able to reinvent itself and transform its business with good results.
Business Traveler Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in the industry and includes categories for various sectors. The recognition given to LATAM, awarded by the magazine’s readers, was for the in-flight experience, for which the airline has a recognition and personalization program that is constantly evolving.

“This recognition drives us to continue offering excellent service to our passengers, our top priority. Thanks to the commitment of our team, we will continue to innovate to elevate each trip and make every experience unforgettable,” said LATAM Airlines Group Vice President of Customers, Paulo Miranda.
On the other hand, CAPA Center for Aviation presented LATAM with the “Airline Turnaround of the Year 2024” award, which recognizes the group’s management over the last few years and how it has managed to reinvent itself after its exit from Chapter 11 at the end of 2022. This is reflected in its financial and operating results, number of passengers transported, modernization of the fleet and strengthening of its network, as well as its auspicious projections for future growth.
CAPA is one of the aviation and travel industry’s most important sources of market information. Since its inception in 1990, it has developed an exponential global network of aviation researchers and analysts in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, with more than 8,000 members.
