Avianca Expands Its Network: New Route to Connect Córdoba with Ecuador and Colombia
Avianca will link the city of Córdoba, Argentina, with Guayaquil and Quito in Ecuador, and with Bogotá, Colombia. This service will be available from June 2nd to October 25th, with three weekly frequencies.
The announcement was made by Franco Mogetta, Argentina’s Secretary of Transportation, through his account on the social media platform X.
Currently, Avianca operates seven daily flights from Buenos Aires to Bogotá, Guayaquil, Medellín, Quito, and San José, Costa Rica. The addition of Córdoba to its network of destinations represents a key expansion in connectivity between Argentina and Colombia, as well as with Ecuador.
Expectation for the Official Announcement
Although the start of this new route has been confirmed by official sources within the Argentine government, Avianca has yet to make the announcement. However, the recent approval by the ANAC and the airline’s growth strategy suggest that this route could become an attractive option for passengers seeking new connection alternatives within South America.
