Iberia continues to transform the flight experience with a clear focus on culinary quality. Following the update of its long-haul route menus, the Spanish airline is now extending its renewed pre-order service to short- and medium-haul flights, available on journeys of up to four and a half hours.
Passengers can reserve their meals between 45 days and 18 hours before travel, ensuring early choice and direct delivery to their seat. For intercontinental flights departing from Madrid, an exclusive offering is also available: Celebration Packs, which include a vanilla and lemon tart along with a bottle of cava.
Fresh and Award-Winning Dishes on the Menu
Iberia’s new menu features a varied selection that reflects the trend toward balanced meals and options for different tastes. New additions include:
- Greek salad.
- Oven-baked chicken breast with chickpea ragout.
- Vegan gnocchi with tomato ragout.
- Ricotta mezzelune with sautéed spinach.
- Teriyaki salmon with wok-fried rice and vegetables.

Joining these new items is a dish that has already become a benchmark: creamy rice with cuttlefish, prawn, and piquillo pepper, winner of the Best Onboard Meal award at the 2025 Onboard Awards.
The airline is also keeping popular and well-established options such as salmon poke or beef burger, further enriching a diverse menu that combines tradition, innovation, and international recognition.
Breakfast on Early Morning Flights
The airline is also introducing an improvement aimed at early travelers with overnight stays outside Madrid. From now on, passengers can enjoy a breakfast that includes a Mallorcan ensaimada accompanied by yogurt, expanding options beyond the classic onboard lunches and dinners.
With this renewal, Iberia takes another step in its strategy of personalization and quality. The pre-order service not only makes trip planning easier but also turns mealtime into a differentiating element of the onboard experience.
