Eurowings has announced the launch of its new Premium BIZ seat, an upgrade designed for those seeking more space, privacy, and a more comprehensive onboard service. This product will debut on November 22, 2025, on the direct route between Berlin and Dubai, with an introductory price of 399.99 euros per one-way segment, in addition to the BIZclass fare.

The airline now offers three alternatives: the classic BIZclass, which includes a free middle seat and more legroom; the SMART fare in economy class, with the option to extend your space; and the more basic, no-frills BASIC fare.

A Leap in Comfort and Design

The new Premium BIZ seat is designed to transform the travel experience on medium-haul routes. Its standout features include:

  • Increased personal space, with a 2×2 row configuration.
  • An adjustable footrest, allowing you to find the ideal position throughout the flight.
  • An integrated side table and a USB port to keep devices charged.

– An ergonomic design that combines functionality with modern style.

Furthermore, the experience is complemented by a high-quality menu including a snack and a hot meal, as well as a blanket, pillow, and amenity kit for a more pleasant journey.

Eight Exclusive Seats per Aircraft

In Eurowings’ Airbus A320neo aircraft, the new product replaces the classic 3×3 configuration with a 2×2 design, offering only eight Premium BIZ seats per plane. With this innovation, the company becomes the first German airline to offer a premium seat of this kind on single-aisle aircraft.

Strategy and Fleet Renewal

The launch is part of a broad product and service campaign that the airline will implement in the coming years. According to Eurowings, this initial phase will serve as a market test during the Winter 2025/26 season and will provide key insights that will also be useful for other Lufthansa Group airlines in configuring their future fleets.

The company is also preparing for the largest renewal in its history: starting in 2027, it will add 40 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. With this addition, Eurowings aims to redefine its cabin design and raise the comfort standard on its leisure and medium-haul flights.
