JetBlue Strengthens Its Leadership in Fort Lauderdale with New Routes to Latin America, Caribbean, and Within U.S.
JetBlue announced a new phase of growth at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, solidifying its position as the airport’s number one carrier with a peak of 113 daily flights this winter. Starting in November, the airline will add nine new nonstop destinations to the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, including Cali (Colombia), which will be a new city in its network.
New Destinations from Fort Lauderdale
The airline will introduce direct service to:
- Cali, Colombia – Launch date to be announced soon.
- Aruba – Starting December 4, 2025, with three year-round weekly flights.
- Cartagena, Colombia – Starting December 4, 2025, with four weekly frequencies.
- Grand Cayman – Starting December 4, 2025, with three weekly services.
- Liberia, Costa Rica – Starting December 4, 2025, with daily service.
- New Orleans, U.S. – Starting November 1, 2025, with two daily flights.
- Pittsburgh, U.S. – Starting November 1, 2025, with one daily flight.
- San Pedro Sula, Honduras – Starting December 4, 2025, with four weekly frequencies.
- St. Maarten – Starting December 4, 2025, with four weekly frequencies.

Increased Flights on Established Routes
In addition to the new cities, JetBlue will increase service on nine other high-demand routes:
- Atlanta: Three daily flights starting November 1.
- Hartford: Between two and three daily flights starting November 1.
- Boston: Six daily flights, increasing to ten during peak season.
- San Juan, Puerto Rico: Six daily flights, up to seven during high-demand periods.
- Cancun, Mexico: Three daily flights starting December 5.
- Kingston, Jamaica: Between two and three daily flights, with up to six during peak season.
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: One to two daily frequencies.
- San Jose, Costa Rica: Two daily flights, with the option for three during seasonal peaks.
- Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic: One daily service starting December 4.
“As the leading airline in Fort Lauderdale, JetBlue continues to raise the standard for South Florida travelers,” said Dave Jehn, the company’s Vice President of Network Planning and Partnerships. The offering includes free high-speed Wi-Fi, onboard entertainment at every seat, complimentary snacks and drinks, plus Mint service on select routes, featuring lie-flat seats and premium dining.

To celebrate the milestone of 113 daily flights, the airline is offering tickets from $113 or less for any of its nonstop destinations from Fort Lauderdale.
A Constantly Expanding Hub
Fort Lauderdale was JetBlue’s first destination 25 years ago and remains its key gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2025, in addition to these new developments, the airline will open a dedicated Mint crew base at the terminal, scheduled for early 2026.
So far this year, JetBlue has announced 17 new routes from Fort Lauderdale. With this latest expansion, the airline will serve a total of 46 nonstop destinations, reinforcing its JetForward strategy, which aims to consolidate the strongest leisure network on the U.S. East Coast.
