Wingo will cease operations of its non-stop flights between Bogotá, Colombia, and San José, Costa Rica, effective October 28, 2025. This is according to notification number 2025190010132732 issued by Aerocivil.

Last Scheduled Flight
Based on information published on the airline’s website, the final flight between the two capitals will depart from Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 25. With this measure, Wingo discontinues a route that had maintained a frequency of three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Fewer Options for Travelers
The suspension represents a reduction in air connectivity options between Colombia and Costa Rica. Following Wingo’s exit, Avianca will remain as the only airline offering direct flights between Bogotá and San José.
