Delta Air Lines is adding a new destination to its international network with the launch of its first nonstop flight between Atlanta and Riyadh, scheduled for October 2026. The new route will strengthen commercial and investment ties between the United States and Saudi Arabia, fostering long-term economic cooperation in the region.
“Initiating service to Riyadh marks a key step in Delta’s global growth as we begin our second century of flight,” said Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines. “Our new flights will connect customers to a dynamic and fast-growing region, offering the care, comfort, and reliability they expect.”

- Delta Comfort+ will provide extra legroom, priority boarding, and dedicated overhead bin space.
In all cabins, passengers will enjoy carefully curated culinary offerings, in-flight entertainment with Delta Studio, and free connectivity through Delta Sync Wi-Fi powered by T-Mobile, available for SkyMiles members.

Riyadh: Where Tradition Meets Vision
The Saudi capital has become a gateway to a culture rich in history and focused on the future. As part of the Vision 2030 plan, Saudi Arabia is promoting global openness, including the arrival of new international routes.
“We welcome Delta to Riyadh and look forward to the opportunities this service will generate for travelers worldwide,” said Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “These direct flights between Atlanta and Riyadh strengthen global connectivity between our nations and will open new doors for tourism, business, and innovation.”
Among the standout experiences the city offers are excursions to the Edge of the World (Jebel Fihrayn), the elegance of Via Riyadh, and the vibrant atmosphere of traditional souks. Riyadh combines adventure, luxury, and cultural authenticity, positioning itself as a destination of growing international appeal.
A Direct Bridge Between Saudi Arabia and the United States
At over 7,000 miles in length, this will be one of Delta’s longest routes. In addition to directly connecting Atlanta and Riyadh, it will allow Saudi passengers easy access to more than 150 U.S. cities via a single connection.
