LOT Polish Airlines continues to strengthen its presence in the United States with the announcement of a new direct route between Warsaw and San Francisco. This transatlantic connection is part of the airline’s growth strategy in one of its most relevant long-haul markets, driven by increasing demand for both business and leisure travel.

Operational Details of the New Route

The inaugural service between Warsaw Chopin Airport and San Francisco is scheduled for May 6, 2026. During the summer season, LOT will offer four weekly frequencies.

Passengers will enjoy an estimated flight time of 11 hours and 30 minutes aboard the modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner, operated by the Polish national carrier.

Robert Ludera, Registered Representative and Director of the LOT Polish Airlines Network Department, highlighted the strategic relevance of transatlantic flights for the company. In the last 12 months, over 800,000 passengers have flown between Poland and the United States with LOT.

Tickets for the direct flights between Warsaw and San Francisco are already available through all LOT sales channels, including the website, the LOT Contact Center, and LOT Travel offices.

This new direct link reinforces LOT Polish Airlines’ commitment to global connectivity and responds to the growing demand for routes connecting Central Europe with key destinations on the US West Coast.
