The Dominican airline Arajet has reached a new milestone by transporting three million passengers since the start of its operations in September 2022, an achievement that confirms its rapid expansion within the continental air market. This result comes in a context of historic figures for the company, especially during the month of November, which became one of the most outstanding in its short trajectory.
November, a Key Month for Arajet’s Performance
According to official data published on the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) portal, Arajet mobilized over 128,000 passengers during November, not counting connecting travelers. When including this segment, the total exceeds 145,000 passengers transported in that month, reflecting a sustained growth in demand for its services.
This performance allowed the airline to close November with record figures, reaffirming its position within the national and regional air system.

Fifth Consecutive Time Among Airlines with Most Passengers
Thanks to these results, Arajet ranked for the fifth consecutive month as the third airline with the highest passenger volume in the country. During November, the company transported over 8% of the total people entering or leaving the Dominican Republic, an indicator that demonstrates its growing weight in national air traffic.
This monthly consistency has been key to consolidating the brand within a highly competitive market.
An Expanding Fleet and a Regional Vision
The achievement of three million passengers coincides with a relevant moment for the airline in operational terms. Ending the year with its 13th aircraft represents a strategic step in its growth plan and its goal of strengthening the country’s air connectivity.
Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet, highlighted the importance of this progress:
“Ending the year with our 13th aircraft, reaching the three millionth passenger in just three years, is a source of great pride and reflects the committed work of hundreds of Arajet collaborators, determined to turn the Dominican Republic into the new air hub of the continent.”
Leadership Within National Commercial Aviation
Arajet’s impact is equally reflected in the combined performance of Dominican airlines. During November, these companies transported a total of 142,300 passengers, of which Arajet was responsible for approximately 90%, reaffirming its leadership within the country’s commercial aviation.
With these results, the airline continues to consolidate itself as a key player in regional connectivity, backed by solid figures, a growing fleet, and a strategy aimed at positioning the Dominican Republic as a benchmark air center on the continent.
