Air Transat has launched its non-stop flights between Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Agadir, Morocco. This new connection establishes the carrier as the only airline linking the North American market directly to Agadir, responding to robust leisure demand and strengthening connectivity between both regions.
With this launch, Agadir becomes the company’s second destination in Morocco, complementing its existing offerings to Marrakech.
The new service will operate on a seasonal basis under the following schedule:
- Frequency: One weekly flight, scheduled on Fridays.
- Route Validity: Operations will run until October 23, 2026.
The deployment of this route represents a key corporate milestone for the airline’s expansion into new continents. Sébastien Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer at Transat, explained that opening this destination reflects the firm’s ambition to strengthen exclusive access to Morocco and significantly expand its commercial footprint across the African continent. Ponce added that the service addresses strong and growing demand, promoting tourism development and deepening community ties between Canada and Morocco.
