Riyadh Air Launches Flights to Manchester, Its Second UK Destination

Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, has inaugurated its nonstop service between Riyadh and Manchester, consolidating its presence in the United Kingdom following the launch of operations to London in June.

The route operates three times weekly—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—utilizing Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft configured in a four-class layout:

  • Business Elite
  • Business
  • Premium Economy
  • Economy

The onboard experience features ergonomic seating with enhanced privacy and storage capacity, Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova inflight entertainment (IFE) system, cutting-edge mobile connectivity, wireless audio capabilities, elevated dining, Kayanee-branded amenity kits, Disney children’s activity packs, and a five-senses wellness program.

Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, noted that Manchester represents the airline’s 14th global destination. “Manchester serves as a key gateway from which our guests can connect to cities across the Middle East and Asia, in addition to being a popular cultural destination in its own right,” the executive highlighted.

Passengers flying this route benefit from seamless onward connections not only to Riyadh and Jeddah, but also to several destinations across Asia, including:

  • Bangkok, Thailand
  • Islamabad, Pakistan
  • Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Manila, Philippines

With the launch of the Manchester service, Riyadh Air continues to reinforce its international network expansion across Europe while bolstering connectivity to Asia and the Middle East.
