Caribbean Airlines announced this Friday a major enhancement to its network operations through the introduction of a nonstop service between Tobago and Toronto, the resumption of scheduled passenger flights between Trinidad and Caracas, and the launch of a charter flight series connecting Trinidad with Panama.
This expansion aims to provide increased travel options across corporate, leisure, and VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) traffic segments, while simultaneously stimulating trade and reinforcing the carrier’s regional and international connectivity.
New Direct Connection Between Tobago and Toronto
Effective October 25, 2026, the carrier will inaugurate a weekly nonstop service between Tobago Airport and Toronto, operating on Sundays.
- Strategic Market: The route directly connects Tobago with one of its key international source markets.
- Operational and Tourism Impact: It will facilitate VFR travel and inbound tourism, reinforcing air links between Tobago and Canada ahead of the peak winter travel season.
Resumption of Commercial Scheduled Operations Between Trinidad and Caracas
As part of strengthening bilateral air links, Caribbean Airlines will reinstate scheduled commercial passenger operations between Trinidad and Caracas, Venezuela, starting October 31, 2026. Flight Tracker
This development restores direct air connectivity between the two neighboring nations, supporting business travel and leisure traffic with the following weekly schedule:
Trinidad – Caracas Flight Schedule (Saturdays)
- Trinidad to Caracas: Departs at 8:15 a.m., arrives at 10:10 a.m.
- Caracas to Trinidad: Departs at 10:55 a.m., arrives at 12:45 p.m.
Seasonal Charter Operations to Panama
To accommodate heightened passenger demand during the year-end holidays and the upcoming Carnival season, the airline will operate a series of charter flights between Trinidad and Panama.
- Period of Operation: December 1, 2026, through February 9, 2027.
- Flight Days: Scheduled operations on select Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Objective: To provide additional capacity and air travel alternatives designed to actively stimulate regional trade and passenger traffic flows.
