The new Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available from August 18 for PC and Xbox Game Pass.

The new Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available next August 18th, although it is possible to book it in Windows 10 or pre-install it with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) from this Monday.

The flight simulation game from Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studio has been equipped with more than 1.5 billion buildings, two billion trees, mountains, roads and rivers to recreate the landscapes in detail.

The new version of the popular simulator accommodates real traffic, real-time weather changes and dynamics thanks to its new time engine, and allows day and night flights, at any time of the year, with its new day and night engine.

These new features, together with the design detail of the planes and airports, make the flight simulator the “most realistic and authentic”, as reported from Microsoft in a press release.

* All editions of Microsoft Flight SimulatorStandard Edition (‘69.99): includes 20 highly detailed aircraft with unique flight models and 30 carefully designed airports. The Standard Edition will be available from day one with the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta).

* Deluxe Edition (£89.99): includes all the content of the Standard Edition plus 5 additional aircraft faithfully recreated with unique flight models and 5 additional carefully designed international airports.

* Premium Deluxe Edition (£119.99): includes all Standard Edition content plus 10 additional aircraft faithfully recreated with unique flight models and 10 additional international airports designed in great detail.
