Production problems could cause hundreds of Boeing 787s to be overhauled: WSJ.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is considering inspecting hundreds of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft after presenting production problems at a plant, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a memo.

Boeing reported in August that several airlines operating the Dreamliner have withdrawn eight aircraft from service after airframe manufacturing problems were identified.
In the August 31 memorandum, Boeing informed the FAA that it had manufactured some parts at its South Carolina facility that did not meet its standards.
The safety directive could affect nearly 900 Dreamliner aircraft delivered since 2011, according to the report.
