Vueling has reduced the offer of seats this September 20% compared to August, with a total of 1.76 million in the whole network, both in Spain and in the rest of Europe.

It does so to continue adapting to the current environment, marked by the crisis caused by the coronavirus health emergency, an “unprecedented situation”, as reported by the company in a statement on Tuesday.

The IAG group’s airline program for September will consist of a total of 208 routes and will operate up to a maximum of 2,226 weekly flights.

Vueling will focus its offer for Spain, with 190 direct routes, of which 92 will be domestic and another 98 will operate to international destinations.

Likewise, the Barcelona-El Prat Airport, its main center of operations, will maintain a similar offer to that of August, with 79 direct routes and 1,378 weekly flights: 24 will be domestic and 55 will connect to international cities.

Vueling has indicated that it applies in its operations all the health and safety recommendations drawn up by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), in collaboration with the European Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC).

Among others, it recommends its clients to make the registration in a digital way; it reduces “to the minimum” the hand baggage, and the obligatory use of masks during the flights.
