The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA), in an order dated September 11, indicated that it has suspended the license to operate in that country of the Mexican airline Interjet for failure to provide liability insurance coverage.

According to record 2020-A-146, Canadian authorities suspended the airline’s permits because it does not have the regulatory liability insurance policy required by Section 69 of the Canadian Transportation Act.
The agency said that the license will be automatically reinstated when Canadian authorities are satisfied that the airline complies with all requirements.
