The regional aircraft manufacturer ATR made the first flight of its new ATR 72-600F regional cargo aircraft on Wednesday.
The flight took off at 14:00 from its headquarters in Saint-Martin and lasted two hours. During this flight, the crew performed a series of tests to evaluate the in-flight performance of the new aircraft.

FedEx will be the first company to receive this aircraft, from which it placed a firm order for 30 aircraft, plus 20 options, in November 2017.
The arrival of this new freighter further consolidates ATR’s leadership position in the regional market and will offer operators a number of unique advantages.
