Peru will resume flights to 10 countries the Americas and the Caribbean in November.

Peru will increase international flights from November onwards to include nine other American countries, including the United States, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, official sources announced, reported EFE.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) reported on Twitter that it “will enable 24 air routes to 10 countries in North America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean” as part of the modifications to the restrictions imposed to confront the covid-19 pandemic.

“These flights have a range of 8 hours,” he added before specifying that they will add trips to the United States, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Brazil, and Argentina, in addition to a new destination to Colombia.

After keeping its borders and air space closed since March 16, Peruvian authorities authorized this month the start of flights of up to four hours duration to cities in Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile.
