Starting Dec. 9, American Airlines customers traveling to any city, state or U.S. territory that has travel restrictions on COVID-19 will have access to home testing through LetsGetChecked for travel starting Dec. 12.

“We have made great progress in helping open up international travel with our test partners, and we recognize the need for similar solutions for domestic travel,” said Alison Taylor, American Airlines’ Director of Customer Service.
The airline indicated it will continue to work with LetsGetChecked to expand domestic testing as state requirements evolve. Current cities, states and territories with COVID-19 travel restrictions include Alaska, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Chicago, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island and Vermont.
