According to the flight traffic report for the period from March 2 to March 16, 2021 prepared by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol), Istanbul International Airport is in the first position with an average of 465 flights per day.

It is followed by Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with 435 flights and Schiphol (Amsterdam) with 336 flights.
In fourth position is Frankfurt Airport with 334 flights.
The report stresses that stability is generally maintained in the number of daily flights at the airports of European countries without registering falls, especially in Istanbul, as there was an increase of 11% at Heathrow (UK), 23% at Bergen (Norway), 119%.
