Southwest Airlines resumes flights to Costa Rica in June.

Southwest Airlines announced Friday that it will resume flights to Costa Rica’s two international airports, Liberia and San Jose, beginning in June.

The airline will reactivate daily nonstop service from Houston to Liberia and San Jose, Costa Rica beginning June 6, offering fares starting at $129 one way.

It will also operate additional summer season nonstop service on Saturdays between Baltimore-Washington and Liberia beginning June 12, with fares starting at $169 one way.

“We are excited to continue to re-establish the international service previously served, bringing together the warm Hospitality of Costa Rica with the Heart and Value of Southwest,” said Andrew Watterson, Southwest Airlines Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
