Panama’s Copa Airlines will resume flights to Nassau, Bahamas, beginning June 5. Initially, flights will operate on Saturdays and Mondays and as of June 17 on Sundays and Thursdays.
Flights from Panama City will depart at 07:48 and land in Nassau at 11:42. From Lynden Pindling International Airport they will take off at 12:54 and arrive in the Panamanian capital at 14:52.
“Copa Airlines is pleased to announce that starting in June, we will restart our regular operation to Nassau with two weekly flights, so that tourists can enjoy a few wonderful days of rest and live an unforgettable vacation in The Bahamas, as this destination offers a wealth of experiences, and each island has its own appeal, with beautiful landscapes, gastronomy and immensely white sand beaches,” said Christophe Didier, vice president of Global Sales for Copa Airlines.
As of May 1, passengers with a complete vaccination certificate (including second dose, if applicable) for COVID-19 from AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Johnson & Johnson, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech immunizers are exempt from submitting negative PCR tests as long as they have been vaccinated at least 14 days prior to entry into The Bahamas.
