American Airlines is making it even easier for customers to travel to and from Austin, Texas, with the addition of 14 new routes beginning this fall, including four international destinations.
“Earlier this year we added more flights from Austin, and customers have spoken: they want more,” said Brian Znotins, American’s Vice President of Network Planning. “We’re eager to offer our customers even more opportunities to reconnect with family, friends and colleagues. Together with our partners, we’re making it easier than ever to connect Austin with the world.”
Ten new domestic nonstops
The airline will add three daily flights to El Paso, Texas; two daily flights to Cincinnati; Indianapolis; Kansas City, Missouri; and St. Louis; and one daily flight to Jacksonville, Florida; Oklahoma City; Reno, Nevada; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Four new international destinations
Just in time for planning winter getaways, American will offer four new international options; nonstop service to Cancun, Mexico beginning October 7; Liberia, Costa Rica beginning November 2; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico beginning November 2; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic beginning November 2.
The carrier will also begin year-round nonstop service from Austin to Los Cabos, Mexico and Nassau, Bahamas, following successful seasonal service this summer.
