Russia’s S7 Airlines plans to order 24 new Airbus A320neo aircraft for its low-cost carrier by 2024, the airline’s board chairwoman Tatiana Fileva said Wednesday.
Fileva previously said S7 would create a new low-cost airline for regional traffic, looking to carry more than 7 million passengers by 2024.
Founded in 1992, the airline currently has a fleet of 102 aircraft, consisting of Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and Embraer 170 aircraft.
