Alaska Airlines adds three new routes between San Francisco and Mexico this winter.

Alaska Airlines announced Thursday that it will offer three new nonstop routes between San Francisco International Airport and Loreto, Mazatlan and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Mexico, from December 18 through April 16, 2022.

Alaska offers the most nonstop flights to Mexico from the West Coast. This winter, it will have up to 27 daily departures: 20 from California and seven from the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to the new nonstop seasonal service from San Francisco to Loreto, Mazatlán and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Alaska also has nonstop flights from San Francisco to Cancún, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta. From San Jose in the Bay Area, it flies nonstop to Guadalajara, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.

Tickets to all destinations operated by the airline in Mexico are currently on sale with up to 30% discount on select one-way fares. Date and weekday restrictions apply.

With a total of seven nonstop destinations from the Bay Area this winter, including options from San Francisco and San Jose, tropical paradise is just a few hours away”, said Brett Catlin, vice president of network and alliances at Alaska Airlines.
