Viva Aerobus receives its 50th aircraft.
Viva Aerobus celebrated at Monterrey International Airport the official welcoming ceremony of its 50th aircraft, a new Airbus A321neo with registration number XA-VBM, which is distinguished by a decoration alluding to this emblematic expansion of the airline’s fleet.
This iconic aircraft landed in Mexico on Saturday, July 31 at 19:00 at Terminal C of the Monterrey International Airport, after taking off in the morning of the same day from Hamburg, Germany, making stops in Keflavík, Iceland and Bangor, United States.
With this arrival, Viva Aerobus reaffirms its position as the airline with the youngest fleet in the country and the second youngest in North America, now comprised of 10 Airbus A321s and 40 Airbus A320s, with an average age of only 4.6 years. The Airbus A321neo has a capacity for 240 passengers, offers fuel efficiencies that benefit the environment, and provides greater comfort thanks to its intelligent design in terms of space utilization and cabin noise reduction.
