Dominican airline RED Air will begin charter flights to Miami from Santo Domingo starting November 1. The airline will begin these flights on a scheduled basis, with a daily frequency departing Santo Domingo at 17:15 pm and Miami at 12:30 pm.

This airline operation will allow passengers to travel to and from Miami, with the José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport of the Americas as its HUB.
As part of its strategy and commercial expansion, RED Air plans to initiate regular flights to Venezuela, Costa Rica, Colombia and Panama to continue its growth.

“The airline is certified by both Dominican and international authorities to operate to and from these routes,” said Héctor Gómez, CEO of RED Air.
“Our country is a leader in the tourism market, with modern hotel infrastructure and a varied offer for its visitors, RED Air aims to promote the recovery of tourism for the growth, development and competitiveness of the Dominican Republic,” he added.
