The first one, with registration LV-KAN, will arrive at Ezeiza international airport between Friday and next Monday and is scheduled to enter service during the first week of December. The second, with registration LV-KAO, will arrive during the second week of December and will start flying during the first days of January.

Both aircraft are currently in San Bernardino, California, where they are undergoing painting and refurbishment of the cabin interior, which includes changes in the in-flight entertainment and mood lighting software, re-upholstery of the seats, carpets and general adaptations according to Aerolíneas Argentinas’ standards of use and safety.
Like the rest of the A330-200 fleet, they will have the international ETOPS (Extended Range Twin Engine Operation Performance Standards) certification, which enables twin-engine aircraft to perform long-range operations with high safety margins and greater efficiency in the preparation of flight plans.
→ Aerolíneas Argentinas will connect Córdoba, Tucumán, Mendoza and Rosario with Mar del Plata.
“This is an aircraft model that adapts perfectly to the company’s needs from the technical and operational point of view, which has a high efficiency and versatility that allows us to fly both international routes and domestic routes in periods of high demand,” explained Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
The two aircraft are powered by General Electric engines and have a cabin configuration similar to the company’s other eight A330-200s (25 seats in business class and 244 in economy).
