Wingo airline continues with its expansion plan. This Wednesday it announced the arrival of a new aircraft to join its fleet.

This modern Boeing 737-800 Next Generation, with capacity for 186 passengers, will allow Wingo to increase the number of flights on the routes it already operates successfully and continue to explore new destinations, thus consolidating its route network, which now reaches 28 in 11 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Wingo will increase flights to Cuba starting in November.

The arrival of this new aircraft is part of the fleet expansion plan that the airline initiated in 2020, and with which it replaced its first 4 Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, which are larger and state-of-the-art technology.

With this aircraft, Wingo’s fleet reaches 7 aircraft and new announcements are coming as part of the airline’s sustainable expansion plan throughout the region.
