After the official inauguration of Palmerola International Airport, Avianca will move its operation from Tegucigalpa to Comayagua starting December 16, 2021.
→ Avianca will resume strategic alliance with United and Copa Airlines.
“We are ready to serve our customers from the new airport, where we will have greater efficiency, with more modern infrastructure and technology that will allow us to optimize our service to passengers. This is undoubtedly an important contribution to the country’s connectivity with the region,” said David Alemán, Avianca’s General Manager for Central and South America.
The airline currently has daily flights to San Salvador and 4 weekly flights to Guatemala, which will continue to serve passengers from Tegucigalpa from the new air terminal with improved facilities.
