Aerolineas Argentinas announces new route between Salta and Sao Paulo
Aerolíneas Argentinas announced a new international route that will link the cities of Salta and Sao Paulo (Brazil) starting in July. This is the first of a series of announcements related to connectivity during the mid-year high season.
The company informed that the route will operate 3 frequencies, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. It is important to highlight that this flight will connect immediately via Salta and in both directions with Tucumán, thus creating a corridor between the 3 cities.

The announcement was made by the president of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Pablo Ceriani, and the governor of the province of Salta, Gustavo Sáenz.
“The Brazilian market is strategic for us as there is a great interest on the part of travelers to visit different parts of Argentina. This new route means continuing to expand the offer from Brazil to Argentina and this is beneficial both for the province of Salta and for the country as it results in foreign currency income for the entire sector,” said the president of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Pablo Ceriani.
It should be recalled that last month the company confirmed the return of flights to and from Brasilia, Curitiba and Porto Alegre. In addition, Aerolíneas Argentinas operates daily frequencies to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis and Salvador de Bahía from both Buenos Aires and Córdoba.
From the province of Salta, the airline currently operates flights to and from Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Iguazú, Mendoza, Neuquén, Resistencia and Rosario.
